The Iron Summit

Reforge the Man You Were Meant to Be

You’re carrying everything—but feel like you’re dropping it all.

Meet Mike –
The Man You Were…
and the Man You Are Now.

Mike’s not broken. But he’s worn thin.

He’s 45 years old.  Married for nearly 25 years to his high school sweetheart.
Four kids, two jobs (one at work, one at home), and a calendar that feels like it never stops moving.

He used to be wild and tough—back in high school, in his twenties.
He was the guy who’d disappear into the woods for a weekend with nothing but a backpack.
He was the guy who lifted heavy, ran hard, stayed up too late with his friends, and knew what it meant to bleed for something.

But life moved fast.
Career. Marriage. Mortgage. Kids. You know the song.
Now, all of that feels distant… and so does he.

He still loves his wife. But they barely talk anymore—at least, not about anything real.
He’s showing up for his kids, but his oldest doesn’t respect or trust him the way he used to. His youngest only knows that Dad gets mad somedays.
He’s the provider, but not always there. Active but not always present…

But not the leader.

Not the firestarter.

Not the man he once believed he’d become.

Here’s what Mike doesn’t say out loud:

  • “I feel like I’m just going through the motions.”
  • “I should be stronger—physically, mentally, spiritually—but I don’t even know where to start.”
  • “I want to feel ALIVE again. Not just… useful.”
  • “When did everything become so damn heavy?”
  • “I miss the version of me who had edge… grit… something dangerous and good inside him.”

Mike’s a good man.
He loves his family. He works hard. He’s not lazy. He’s not a failure.

And the scariest part?

He’s getting good at living like this.

Waking up. Powering through. Collapsing. Scrolling. Repeating.
It’s not rock bottom—but it’s not purpose either.

The Iron Summit is for men like Mike.

Not because he’s weak.
But because he’s ready to stop drifting.
Because he still believes there’s more.
Because he’s strong enough to admit: “I’m not where I thought I’d be by now.”

He doesn’t want to be just comfortable.
He wants clarity.
He wants the fire he felt for his wife and family again.
He wants to lead again—not just provide.
To deeply love again—not just show up.
To be dangerous to the darkness again—not just busy in the daylight.

The Climb Isn’t a Metaphor.
It’s a Mission.

This isn’t a course.
This isn’t content.
This is a fire-tested process for men who are ready to stop drifting and start climbing.

You won’t be asked to sit in your feelings.
You’ll be challenged to move through the fire—with discipline, clarity, and brotherhood.

You’ll get honest.
You’ll rebuild your inner operating system.
You’ll reclaim the energy, mindset, and connection that you thought were gone forever.

The first step in any mission is to find out where you are. Download your Iron Summit Scorecard below.

Why I Built The Iron Summit

It wasn’t because I had extra time.

My name is Josh Waltzing.

I’m a husband, a father of three teenage boys, and a 6th-degree black belt in martial arts. I have taught thousands of students how to be martial artists and leaders in life. They learned kicks, punches, leadership lessons, achieved great things, and earned their black belts.

But a few years ago, I felt like a fraud.

I was training others—but losing myself.

I was emotionally absent from my marriage.  Snapping at my kids.  Overweight and drifting through my business like it was a waiting room.  I wasn’t sleeping well.  I wasn’t praying well.  And I wasn’t proud of the man I saw in the mirror.

So I stopped seeking motivation—and walked into the Forge.

Since June 3, 2019, I’ve run or walked at least a mile every single day. It started as a program with Darren Hardy called the Raven Run and I have kept at it.   Through illness. Blizzards. Even 30° below zero.

I’ve lost 21 pounds in 3 and half months with a renewed focused eating strategy. I am not as strong as I want to be but I am getting stronger.  I am training for another Olympic distance triathlon and feeling better than ever. It will be slow but I will do it again.

I’ve built emotional strength in my relationship with my sons. The relationships are nowhere near perfect and I still mess up a lot but they are moving in the right direction. We argue and yell at each other much less than we used to.

I’ve repaired the emotional core of my marriage—and my wife and I now know how to talk to each other about things that matter. I have been able to share things with her that I haven’t in over 20 years of being together.

The Iron Summit was born from my fire—so you can find yours.

THE 7 PILLARS OF REFORGING

  • Faith
The fire in your soul—your relationship with God that anchors your identity, purpose, and mission as a man.
  • Family
The first team you lead—your wife and kids deserve more than your presence; they need your heart, strength, and intentional leadership.
  • Fitness
The foundation of your energy and discipline—because your body carries the weight of your mission, and it must be trained for the climb.
  • Finances
The structure that supports your household and legacy—when you master your money, you free your mind to lead with clarity.
  • Fight
Your ability to protect what matters—through tactical training and emotional control, you become dangerous to the darkness, not the people you love.
  • Fieldcraft
Your resilience in the wild—because every man should be able to navigate the unknown, survive hard things, and lead in any condition.
  • Final Mission
Your calling beyond comfort—this journey doesn’t end at the top, it continues until the Lord calls you home, and every step matters for eternity.
Welcome to the Forge…

I’ve Walked This Path Too

You don’t need a perfect leader. You need a real one.
That’s why I built this program—not to teach from a stage, but to share what I’ve lived from the trenches.

These 7 Pillars aren’t just ideas I came up with…
They’ve been forged in one of the hardest, most humbling seasons of my life.
And they’ve helped me climb toward the man I was born to be—and the man I’m still becoming.

Here’s how I’ve lived each one:

Faith – The Fire in My Soul

I spent years going through the motions spiritually.
But when I stopped treating God like a side project and started treating Him as my source—everything changed.

Today, I read the Bible daily. I study my faith intentionally. And I spend at least one hour every week in prayer at my church—outside of Sunday.

That time? It’s not optional. It’s what keeps me centered.

Family – The First Team I Lead

My wife and I were becoming ships in the night—functional but disconnected.
So I took the lead: we went to a Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend… and then we committed to lead one.

I started reading books like Radical Hospitality, and I made a daily choice to see the good in my kids instead of just managing their chaos.
That shifted everything.

Fitness – The Foundation of My Energy

Since June 3, 2019, I’ve walked or run at least one mile every day. No excuses. No breaks.
Blizzards. Sickness. Even subzero weather—I kept going.

Since January, I’ve lost 21 pounds following a Keto plan (even with some slip-ups), and I’m now lifting weights three days a week and training for an Olympic-distance triathlon.

Not for a six-pack. But for strength that lasts.

Finances – The Structure That Supports My Mission

We used to live paycheck to paycheck. Even running a business, I never felt ahead.

Then I implemented the Profit First system in both my business and my home.
I learned to lead my money instead of reacting to it.
Now, not only are we gaining financial ground—but we bought a building for my martial arts school.

I finally feel like a provider and a steward.

Fight – The Skill to Protect What Matters Most

I’ve been a martial artist for over 25 years. I’m a 6th-degree black belt.
I’ve trained in striking, grappling, weapons, firearms, and personal protection.
But none of that mattered until I had a family to protect—and a reason to use it for good.

Becoming dangerous to darkness doesn’t mean becoming violent.
It means standing ready when it counts.

Fieldcraft – My Resilience in the Wild

I’m not a prepper. But I’ve made it a mission to know how to keep my family safe in the wild.

How to navigate without a phone.
How to build shelter.
How to start a fire, purify water, and survive if we get stuck.

I hunt. I fish. I explore. Because I want to be ready—not paranoid, but prepared.

Forever Mission – The Climb That Never Ends

The Iron Summit isn’t just a program.
It’s the path I’m still walking.
Because there is no “arrived” for a man on mission—there’s only forward.

My journey won’t end until the Lord calls me home.
And until then, I’ll keep climbing—with you.

You’re Not Following a Course.

You’re following a fellow climber.

I’m not at the top.
I’m just a few steps ahead—reaching back with a hand and a map.

Let’s climb together.

The Iron Summit Brotherhood

Why the Brotherhood Isn’t Optional—

It’s the Bellows that Feeds the Fire!

You can read the books. Watch the videos.
Take the course.

But transformation doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in the fire of community.

I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars over the past 25 years on personal development and business coaching.  And every single one gave me tools…

But it wasn’t until I joined a group of like-minded, high-achievers—my Brotherhood—that I actually started using them.

We meet weekly. We challenge each other. We don’t let each other drift. That group? We call ourselves the Foghorns—and they’ve changed my life more than anything else I’ve ever paid for.

What I’ve learned is this:
A man can grow alone—but he transforms with others.

The Brotherhood inside The Iron Summit is built to replicate that experience.

  • Bi-weekly calls with other Summit climbers
  • Check-ins, call-outs, accountability, and wins shared
  • A group of men who aren’t here to impress you—they’re here to climb with you

This isn’t just another community. It’s a brotherhood.

When you’re in the Brotherhood, you don’t just get access—you get momentum.
You’re not just learning—you’re becoming.

No Gimmicks. No questions

The Iron-Clad Guarantee

If after 30 days, you don’t feel the shift—your wife doesn’t notice, your kids don’t feel it, and your soul doesn’t sense it… I’ll refund every dollar. No questions.

This isn’t a gimmick. It’s a Forge.
If it doesn’t work for you—I don’t want your money.
But if it does
You’ll never look at your reflection the same way again.

Start the Climb

You don’t need more motivation.
You need a mission. A map. A Brotherhood.

The Forge is lit.
The Crucible awaits.
The climb to the Iron Summit starts now.
